Radium Hypobromite Structural

What is Radium Hypobromite?

Description

Radium hypobromite is expected to possess the molecular formula of Ra(ClO)2 and the molecular weight of 328.9282 g/mol. However, in view of the extreme degree of radioactivity of 226Ra, it is clear that this compound has never been prepared. Whether the compound is stable enough to be prepared in solution remains a conjecture because of cost as well as difficulty in handling. There is no demand or reason to obtain this unstable salt.
It is not available commercially.
