The Uses of TETRAISOPROPYLTHIURAM DISULFIDE
Tetraisopropylthiuram disulphide has been used:
- for incorporation of a thiol equivalent into heterocyclic compounds, by reaction with appropriate lithiated heterocycle
- in preparation of unsymmetrical sulfides
- as extractant for silver (I) extraction from photographic fixing solution
