rel-(R,R,R)-2-Azabicyclo[3,3,0]-octane-3-carboxylic Acid Benzyl Ester Hydrochloride is an intermeidate in the synthesis of Ramipril (R111000(P)), which is an antihypertensive. Ramipril is an angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor, converts to the active diacid metabolite.
