General Description
Viscous dark-green liquid. pH of 1% aqueous solution: 2.6-2.7. Alcoholic odor. Forms slight sludge after 3 months.

Reactivity Profile
QUILON(R) S CHROMIUM COMPLEX is sensitive to heat. Reacts with oxidizing agents. Reacts readily with negatively charged materials, such as polyvinyl alcohol or some proteins. Sludging increases with pH and is instantaneous above 6.0 .
