What is Patchouli oil ?
Chemical properties
Green to greenish-brown or reddish-brown viscous volatile essential oil. Soluble in benzyl benzoate, diethyl phthalate, vegetable oil and mineral oil, partially soluble in propylene glycol, insoluble in glycerol.
The Uses of Patchouli oil
Patchouli oil is allowed to use edible spices, mainly used for cola-type beverages, etc.

Preparation
Patchouli oil was produced by drying and stacking the Lamiaceae herb Pogostemon cablin for three days and fermenting, and then the dried or slightly dried leaves are subjected to high pressure steam distillation for more than 24 hours.
