Nonafluorobutyl methyl ether (Methyl Nonafluorobutyl Ether, MFE) may be used to compose mixed-solvent electrolytes. Flash point, conductivity and NMR spectra of these solvent mixtures have been investigated.
The Uses of METHYL NONAFLUOROBUTYL ETHER
Methoxyperfluorobutane can be used as a solvent:
- In the synthesis of various aryl fluoride derivatives via electrophilic fluorination of aryl and heteroaryl Grignard reagents.
- In grafting of fluorinated diblock copolymers onto silica particles.
