Manufacturing Process
11.4 g (0.05 mol) of titantetraethoxid were mixed with solution of 15.8 g (0.097mol) of benzoylaceton in 200 ml n-hexan. Reaction mixture was mixed for 2 h at heating in N2 atmosphere. The precipitate obtained was filtered, then the product was washed with hexan also and filtered. So there was obtained the diethoxybis-(1-phenyl-1,3-butandionato)-titan, melting point 110°C.
