Preparation
The?4,4 ‘-Bis (N, N-dimethyl) aminodiphenylmethane?obtained dinitration of 4-(4-(Dimethylamino)-3-nitrobenzyl)-N,N-dimethyl-2-nitrobenzenamine reduction, then with an acid of heat, so that the diamino compound is cyclized product is oxidized and then cyclized and converted into zinc chloride double salt, the resulting product is C.I.Basic Orange 14?(?C.I.46005) dimethyl sulfate methylation.
Properties and Applications
Red orange. Water-soluble red orange, slightly soluble in ethanol as red orange. In concentrated sulfuric acid for blue red. Adding an aqueous solution of hydrochloric acid as blue dye red.
