ChEBI: Vicenin-3 is a C-glycosyl compound that is apigenin substituted by a beta-D-glucosyl group and a beta-D-xylosyl group at positions 6 and 8 respectively. It has a role as a plant metabolite. It is a C-glycosyl compound and a trihydroxyflavone. It is functionally related to an isovitexin.
Biological Activity
Vicenin 3 is an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor with IC50 of 46.91 μM.
