Purification Methods
Crystallise DABITC by dissolving 1g in 150mL of boiling Me2CO, filtering hot and allowing to cool at -20o overnight, collecting the solid and drying it in a vacuum. Solutions in pyridine should be used immediately, otherwise it decomposes. It is moisture sensitive. [Chang Methods Enzymol 91 79, 455 1983.]
