General Description
4-Amino-2-chloropyridine is a chloroaminoheterocyclic compound. It readily undergoes Suzuki-Miyaura coupling with phenylboronic acid.
Synthesis
4-Amino-2-chloropyridine is also known as 2-chloro-4-aminopyridine and is synthesised as follows:
(1) Using 2-chloropyridine as raw material and chloroform as solvent, 2-chloropyridine oxide is generated under the action of metachloroperbenzoic acid;
(2) 2-chloropyridine oxide is reacted with concentrated nitric acid and concentrated sulphuric acid CID to generate 2-chloro-4-nitro pyridine nitric oxide;
(3) 2-chloro-4-nitro pyridine nitric oxide is reduced to 2-chloro-4-aminopyridine.
