2,4-Bis(p-tolylthio)-1,3-dithia-2,4-diphosphetane-2,4-disulfide is used in preparation of (Cyclohexyl)pyridine Carboxamides as herbicides.
Purification Methods
Recrystallise it from toluene (light yellow solid), wash it with Et2O and dry in vacuo. [Jennt & Heimgarter Helv Chim Acta 70 1001 1987.]
