2,3-Bis(2-pyridyl)pyrazine (dpp) has been employed:
- as building block for supermolecular molecules
- in the preparation of luminescent complexes Ru(bpy)2(dpp)2+ and (bpy)2Ru-(dpp)Ru(bpp)24+ [bpy=2,2′-bipyridine]
- in the preparation of binary and ternary systems with V(IV)O and Cu(II) ions
