ChEBI: 2,4,6-trimethyl-1,4-dihydropyridine-3,5-dicarboxylic acid O3-methyl ester O5-[2-(phenylthio)ethyl] ester is a dihydropyridine.
Biological Activity
A specific PAF antagonist, more potent than the ginkolide BN-52021. Inhibits rabbit platelet aggregation with an IC 50 value of 1.05 μ M and has no significant activity on Ca 2+ channels. Active in vivo , antagonising PAF-induced systemic hypotension and protein-plasma extravasation in rats.
