The Uses of (2-DIMETHYLAMINOETHYL)TRIPHENYLPHOSPHONIUM BROMIDE
[2-(Dimethylamino)ethyl]triphenylphosphonium Bromide, can be used as a polymerizable cationic surfactant for the intercalation of montmorillonite (MMT), used in the synthesis of polystyrene-clay nanocomposite materials. It can also be used for the synthesis of some analogs of morphine 6-glucuronide through Wittig reactions.
