Description
Capsaicin is an active ingredient extracted from chilli peppers and a TRPV1 agonist. Capsaicin has pain-relieving, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, neuroprotective and anticancer properties and can be used to relieve neuralgia (shooting or burning nerve pain). Capsaicin can also be used to relieve minor pain caused by rheumatoid arthritis or muscle sprains and strains.
