What is VINCAMINORIDINE?

Description

One of the numerous Vinca alkaloids, this base occurs in V. minor and forms clusters of colourless crystals from n-heptane. It is dextrorotatory with [α]²⁰_D +57.7° (c 1.05, CHCL3). The ultraviolet spectrum has absorption maxima at 232 and 300 mfJ. with an inflexion at 288 mμ.
