Preparation

3-Amino-2-hydroxy-5-nitrobenzenesulfonic acid diazotization, with 3-Methyl-1-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-5(4H)-one coupling, and its product (C.I. Mordant Orange 29) at 130 ℃ in Chromium formate in aqueous solution, heating 3 hours, make it into Chromium complex and changed into (2 s) – 1 – (3 – Acetylthio – 2 – methyl – 1 – oxopropyl) – L – proline form.

Properties and Applications

orange. Soluble in water for orange, soluble in ethanol, slightly soluble in Cellosolve. In concentrated sulfuric acid for deep yellow, to orange after diluted; In 10% sodium hydroxide solution for orange solution
