The Uses of TAUTOMYCETIN SOLUTION
Tautomycetin induces apoptosis by inactivating Akt through a PP1-independent signaling pathway in human breast cancer cells. Tautomycin is closely related to another anhydride containing polyketide PP inhibitor called Tautomycetin which, in addition to being useful as a lead for cancer drug discovery, also is a very potent immunosuppressor.

Biological Activity
Potent activated T cell-specific immunosuppressor. Selectively inhibits PP1 over PP2 with IC 50 values of 1.6 and 62 nM respectively. Active in vivo .
