What is t-Boc-N-Amido-PEG7-Tos?
Description
t-Boc-N-Amido-PEG7-Tos is a PEG linker containing a tosyl group and Boc-protected amine group. The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases the water solubility of a compound in aqueous media. The tosyl group is a very good leaving group for nucleophilic substitution reactions. The Boc group can be deprotected under mild acidic conditions to form a free amine.
