Radium Bromate Structural

What is Radium Bromate?

Preparation

There is no report for the preparation of radium bromate. Perhaps this is due to the fact that the thermodynamic data for the bromates of the other alkaline earths are incomplete. This salt could be prepared by the reaction of sodium bromate and radium chloride:
RaCl2+ 2NaBrO3→Ra(BrO3)2+ 2NaCl
In view of the extreme degree of radioactivity of 226Ra, there is no industrial or commercial demand for this salt and it has no CAS number.
