What is OWERREINE?

Description

This dimeric spiro-alkaloid occurs in the root bark of Hedranthera barteri Pichon. It is strongly laevorotatory with [α] ²⁷ _D- 496° (c 0.6, CHCl3). The structure has been determined from chemical analysis and spectroscopic data.
