Description

Tos-PEG10-Tos is a PEG linker containing two tosyl groups. The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases solubility in aqueous media. The tosyl group is a very good leaving group for nucleophilic substitution reactions.

Tos-PEG10-tos is used as a reactant in the synthesis of crown ethers that can then be used to complex urea.
