Purification Methods
Purify N-methylcarbazole by chromatography on silica gel and eluting with CHCl3/Me2CO/Et2O (100:5:1 v/v), or by flash chromatography using pet ether, or by zone melting followed by recrystallisation from pet ether or EtOH.
