What is luciduline?

Description

This unique type of Lycopodium alkaloid has recently been obtained from L.lucidulum and is present among the weak bases of the alkaloidal extract. The complete structure, including the absolute configuration, has been determined from chemical and physical evidence, together with an X-ray diffraction study of O-p-bromobenzoyldihydroluciduline.
