What is Kopsinilamine?

Description

A further alkaloid obtained from Vinca erecta Rgl. et Schmalh, this base crystallizes from Me2CO as colourless rods. It is optically active with a specific rotation of [α]D - 65.5° (c 0.76, Me2CO). It has been characterized as chlorokopsinilamine hydrochloride, m.p. 239-2400 C.
