What is KOPSAPORINE?
Description
Isolated from Kopsia singapurensis, this alkaloid crystallizes from EtOH as colourless clusters of fine needles. It has [α]27D + 48° (CHC13) and the ultraviolet spectrum in MeOH shows absorption maxima at 207, 246, 279 and 287 mfJ.. It contains two hydroxyl groups.
