ent-Kaurenol is a derivative of ent-Kaurane (K145645) which is an anti-inflammatory found in plants that inhibits various human neutrophil functions. Human neutrophils are important in the pathogenesis of rheumatoid arthritis, ischemia-reperfusion injury, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma and other inflammatory diseases.
