What is JOLANTAMINE (Alkaloid K-8, Alkaloid MI-!)?
Description
This base occurs in Colchicum kesselringi Rgl. When purified by recrystallization from Me 2CO it forms colourless rods. The base has been characterized as the hydrochloride, m.p. 250°C and the methiodide, m.p. 258°C. the structure has been determined from spectroscopic data.
