What is JAVAPHYLLINE?

Description

Isolated from Mitragyna javanica., this indole alkaloid has one methoxyl and one C-methyl group in the molecule. The ultraviolet spectrum in EtOH solution has absorption maxima at 209- 218 and 240 mμ.
