What is ISODAMASCONE?
Chemical properties
ISODAMASCONE is a colorless to slightly
yellow liquid with a highly diffusive, fruity, floral odor. It is prepared from 1,5,5-
trimethyl-1-cyclohexene by reaction with crotonic anhydride in the presence of
catalysts.
It is used in perfumery for soaps, cosmetics, and toiletries to give naturalness
and freshness.
