What is ISOCOPTISINE?
Description
The isomer of coptisine (q.v.) has recently been obtained from the rhizomes of Coptis groenlandica and the structure determined from the NMR and mass spectra. It differs from coptisine in having the methylenedioxy group at C-l 0 and C-ll instead of at C-9 and C-I O.
