What is ISOAMMODENDRINE (d-Ammodendrine)?

Description

Ammodendron Conollyi Bge. furnishes this alkaloid which forms colourless crystals having the low melting point given above. It has a specific rotation of [α]D + 15° (c 1.0, EtOH) and forms a crystalline hydrochloride, m.p. 193-4°C; the hydriodide, m.p. 2l8-9°C and the perchlorate, m.p. 202-3°C.
