Gossypol-d2 is a labeled analogue of Gossypol (G766540), which is an inhibitor of PKC, Bcl-2, 5-LO, and 12-LO. It is a polyphenolic aldehyde found in cottonseed known to perturb steroidogenesis in certain mammal luteal cells.
