Description
Ertugliflozin L-pyroglutamic acid is a potent, selective, orally active sodium-dependent glucose cotransporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitor with an IC50 value of 0.877 nM for h-SGLT2.It is the main active ingredient in the tablet ertugliflozin. It is the main active ingredient of ertugliflozin tablets. It is used as an adjunctive therapy for type 2 diabetes.
Chemical properties
Ertugliflozin L-pyroglutamic acid is a white to off-white powder, soluble in ethanol and acetone, slightly soluble in ethyl acetate and acetonitrile, and very slightly soluble in water.
