n-Octyl Chloroformate is a chemical reagent used in the synthesis of surfactants derived from N-alkoxycarbonyl amino acids. Also used n the preparation of piperazinyl-glutamate-pyridines used as orally bioavailable P2Y12 antagonists in platelet aggregation.
