General Description
A potent, selective, nonsteroidal, competitive inhibitor of aromatase (P450arom) (IC50 = 40 nM for human aromatase) Reported to be more potent than fadrozole in inhibiting aromatase activity. Does not significantly inhibit human 17α-hydroxylase (P450 17) (4% inhibition at 2.5 μM).
