Preparation

Properties and Applications

blue. Insoluble in water, soluble in ethanol. In concentrated sulfuric acid for brown light yellow, blue precipitation after dilution. Dye aqueous solution to join sodium hydroxide as brownish red. Used for alcohol solvent, oil and paraffin color.
