What is ALKALOID CD-8?
Description
Extraction of the whole plant material of Cardaria draba yields this alkaloid which has been obtained in the form of light brown crystals having a relatively low melting point. The base is soluble in H20, 70 per cent EtOH and petroleum ether, slightly soluble in Me2CO, C6H6 and Et20 and insoluble in most other common organic solvents.
