Synthesis
7-Octen-1-ol is prepared by the reaction of 1-iodohexan-6-ol and vinyl magnesium bromide. The specific synthesis steps are as follows:
Step 1: vinyl magnesium bromide With copper(l) iodide In tetrahydrofuran; hexane at -40℃; for 0.25h; Inert atmosphere;
Step 2: 1-iodohexan-6-ol With N,N,N,N,N,N-hexamethylphosphoric triamide; triethyl phosphite In tetrahydrofuran; hexane at -40 - 20℃; for 3h; Inert atmosphere.
