Also, it is derived from (4R,6S)-5,6-Dihydro-6-methyl-4H-thieno[2,3-b]thiopyran-4-ol 7,7-Dioxide (T344510), which is an analog of topically-active carbonic anhydrase inhibitor MK-507, commonly known Dorzolamide (D535100).
