3-Acetyl-3-chlorodihydrofuranone-13C4 is a labeled analog of 3-Acetyl3-chlorodihydrofuranone (A172030), which is a useful research compound. It is an intermediate in the synthesis of 4-Methyl-5-thiazoleethanol-13C3 (M330237) is used in the synthesis of novel HldE kinase inhibitors used against gram negative bacteria. Also used in the synthesis of potential antimalarial agents from bis-thiazolium analogues. Refer to M330235.
