What is (2RS)-Lotaustralin?
Description
Salidroside and gallic acid are common constituents of Rhodiola species. The study found that (2RS)-Lotaustralin contained in Rhodiola rosea root will be decomposed by cyanogenic glucoside hydrolase linamarase during crude drug crushing and beverage processing, and the toxic component hydronitrile will be produced. The main cause of astringent effect and constipation during application.
