Sodium 2-Methyl-4,5-dihydro-1,3-thiazole-4-carboxylate (Enantiomeric Ratio ~ 65:35 R:S) (CAS# 15058-19-2) is a useful reagent for preparing thiazoline and oxazoline substrates for FMN-containing oxidase domains of epothilone synthetase and bleomycin synthetase.
