ChEBI: 1,4,7,10-tetrathiacyclododecane is a crown thioether that is cyclododecane in which the carbon atoms at positions 1, 4, 7 and 10 are replaced by sulfur atoms. It is a crown thioether and a saturated organic heteromonocyclic parent.
General Description
The complexes formed by 1,4,7,10-tetrathiacyclododecane with γ-cyclodextrin were studied by NMR diffusion measurements in the absence and in the presence of inorganic and organic salts.
