Established in 1987, AMZOLE INDIA PVT. LTD. (ISO 9001:2008 Certified) was originally a manufacturer of 2-Methyl Imidazole (CAS No. 693-98-1). However, due to strategic reasons, in late 1988 the plant process was changed to produce Glyoxal-40% (CAS No. 107-22-2) instead. Having its primary manufacturing unit at 41, Udhyog Vihar, Sukher, Udaipur - 313004 India. Today the company boasts to be the largest manufacturer of Glyoxal-40% in India.
In early 2015, the company stepped into the manufacturing of drug intermediates and started the production of 2-Methyl-Imidazole (2MI) and 2-Methyl-5-Nitroimidazole (2MNI), making it the sole manufacturer of 2MI, 2MNI and Glyoxal-40% in India.

In 2016, the company has further ventured into the production of Ammonium Sulphate.

Currently, Amzole India Pvt. Ltd. has a production capacity of 500 MT of Glyoxal-40% per month, largest in India. This capacity is a combination of four 125 MT/month plants.

The company also holds a production capacity of 200 MT per month for both 2MI and 2MNI and 600 MT per month of Ammonium Sulphate.
