An antibiotic of peptide type which has strong antimicrobial activity against Gram-positive bacteria and phytopathogenic bacteria, and shows no cross-resistence with such know antibiotics as tetra-cycline, chloramphenicol,erythromycin, cephaloridine, oleandmycin ,kanamycin,streptomycin.
