i-CHESS was formed in 2006 by Christopher Bluemel, a German national. He previously worked 18 years for Bayer in various businesses and countries.

i-CHESS is a custom manufacturer of specialty and fine chemical intermediates and caters to niche markets. i-CHESS also offers selected natural products.

i-CHESS aims to cover the gap between different cultures. We develop and manufacture molecules that are not commonly made and require “Intelligent Chemical Solutions”. Being a mid sized company, we would typically enter markets to break existing monopoly supply situations and aim at a status as tier-2-supplier. We carry out research & development as well as production in India.
