Pimobendan is a chemical used to treat mild, moderate or severe congestive heart failure caused by incompetence of atrioventricular valve or cardiac hypertrophy in dogs.
The bioactive pimobendan (ud-cg115bs) is a selective phosphodiesterase III (pdeiii) inhibitor with IC50 of 0.32 μ M.
