Avobezone is a kind of synthetic UV absorber, which is a good UV-A (> 320nm) type UV absorber. It can block the full band (320 ~ 400nm) UVA. It is an efficient wide spectrum oil soluble UVA filter. When combined with other UVB sunscreens, it can provide all UVA and UVB protection, and can be used to prevent skin cancer caused by light.
